Jane Reeves

Bristol-based artist Jane Reeves graduated from Bath Academy of Art in 1987. Jane worked in theatre publishing and illustration in Bristol for several years before concentrating on painting.

Frequent visits to Cornwall inspire her work – the clear quality of the light, the energy captured where the sea meets the land and the refreshing spirit of the Cornish coast. These elements define the content of her work whether in glass or paint.

Her fused glass work, a direct development of her painting, concentrates on seascapes and the Cornish coastline, particulary St. Ives.
