Dorle Pätzold

Organic form and the charm of ‘object trouves’ are the inspiration for the collection and with these qualities in mind Dorle has worked at bringing the precious metal to life. The working process itself generates new ideas; changes are developed from one piece to the next.

Dorle intends all her jewellery to be worn, at the same time reflecting the personality of the wearer. Metals and gem stone compliment each other in a harmonious sensuality, bringing enjoyment to the owner.

Dorle lived in England for five years, during which time she trained with Jacqueline Mina and studied at the Royal College of Art. She returned to Germany in 2000 but regularly visits and works in Britain where her work is highly respected.
