Chris Hawkins

Chris combines strong design and technical skills to produce striking contemporary jewellery. The work is highly informed by fashion yet has a timeless, classic appeal. The natural world, smooth sculptural forms and bold textures are recurring themes throughout the work.

Chris uses a satin finish silver that he antiques or oxidises to give a weathered, rugged appearance. The jewellery is made to be worn, used, admired and enjoyed. The pieces fit comfortably to the neck or wrist and are designed so they move and turn comfortably with the wearer.
