Richard Glass

Richard trained as a glassmaker with Dartington Crystal and combined this traditional training with studies at Plymouth College of Art. He was awarded an HND in Ceramics and Glass and stayed on to achieve a BA in Applied Art in 2001. In 2003 he gained a Masters degree from the University of Sunderland.

Richard set up his own studio, 'Fluid Glass' in 2003 and in 2005 he moved his studio to Devon, where he is developing his own line of high quality decorative sculptural glass. Richard's work is a combination of handblown and cut or coldworked glass.
