Jo Downs

Jo downs is one of the world’s most prominent fused glass designers. Her advanced fusion techniques allow for the creation of abstract designs of great individuality, vibrant colour, amazing texture and depth.

Based in Cornwall, Jo Downs' art draws inspiration from the sea and sea-life around her. Cornwall has a unique light that gently bathes the environment and has inspired artists for centuries.

Jo and her team use these influences to produce a wide variety of dishes, bowls and mirrors ranging from the minute to the extra large. Jo’s studio has been developed to take on large works which has earned her commissions for cruise liners and hotels as well as private commissions and artworks.
